The 2016 Coiste Siamsa & Coiste Roinne Garda Cycling Championships will take place on Tuesday the 4th of October 2016.

The race will be a 16km Individual Time Trial (out and back) from KIlcock to Enfield (Co. Kildare).

Sign on from 10.30am on the Enfield Road, Kilcock, in vicinity of Parke Nursing Home. All vehicles to be parked in this area.

Ist rider off at 11am from the R148 on Enfield Road, Kilcock. No parking available at this location.

Presentation of medals and refreshments afterwards at O’Keeffe’s Public House, Kilcock Village.


Our first event of 2016 kicks off on the weekend of the 23rd & 24th April 2016, with an overnight training weekend to The Heritage Hotel in Portlaoise.

We’ll leave Westmanstown on Saturday the 23rd and cycle down & back different routes, approx 100kms each day.

Anyone cycling will have to be a fully paid up Garda CC member & holder of  a Cycling Ireland/Vets Association licence. You need to be able to cycle competently in a group and be capable of sustaining an average speed  of approx 27kph over the 100kms.

This event is being heavily subsidised by Garda CC and costs €85.00 to include Soup & Sandwiches on arrival,  B & B and Evening Dinner.

Garda CC is now registered with Cycling Ireland in respect of the 2016 season.

Garda Cycling Club regret to inform you that the 2014 Stubborn Mule Sportive, scheduled for Saturday the 10th May 2014, has been postponed until later in the year. 

The new date for the Stubborn Mule Sportive will be advertised on this site and via http://www.cyclingireland.ie and http://www.stickybottle.com.


The launch of our new club kit, scheduled for Sunday the 6th April 2014 has been postponed.
The event will be re-scheuled in the coming days.
