Who can join Garda CC
Membership of the Garda Cycling Club is open to all serving and retired members of An Garda Siochana, in addition to Garda civilian personnel and Garda Reserve members.
Persons not included in the above categories are entitled to apply for membership, if recommended by two serving Club members.
All membership applications must be considered and approved by the Club committee.
How do I join Garda CC
Visit our ‘Download’ page and download the ‘Club Rules & Regulations’ in addition to the ‘Club Membership Application Form’
Complete the application form in full and return it with the €20 annual membership fee, to Kieran Goulding, Garda Cycling Club, National Support Services, Ground Floor, Block One, Harcourt Square, Dublin 2.
On receipt of the application form, you will be forwarded a text message, confirming receipt. After initial registration, the following years membership fees can be paid electronically.
Cycling Ireland Membership
For insurance purposes, it is highly recommended that you also take out a suitable licence with Cycling Ireland (CI), the governing body for Irish cycling. This will provide a basic level of insurance for partaking in various cycling events.
Introductory CI licences can be obtained via the Garda Cycling Club for €10.
